John Gorski

He attended local schools, was a member of Sacred Heart Church, and was employed at EA Patten Co. in Manchester, previously having worked in Stanley Works and Pratt and Whitney Co.

He was a devoted son and his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

He was the son of Franciszka (Stec) Gorski and Gabriel Gorski of New Britain. He is also survived by his son, John Traceski Jr.; two brothers and a sister, Andrew and Linda Gorski of Plainville, Jozef Gorski of New Britain ; Barbara and Chris Zabbara of Bristol. He is also survived by two nieces and nephews, Alicia, Jessica, Robert and Michael, he was predeceased by a nephew Daniel. Also surviving is his aunt Maria Gorski and cousin Adam Gorski and his family from Southington and his uncle Leon Gorski.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 8:30 AM at the New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain followed by the funeral liturgy at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Calling hours will be on Friday , October 5, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home, Directions, Exit 37 off I-84 take a right at the exit, 1 ½ miles on your right.
