Irene loved being “babcia “grandma to her grandsons and more recently was happy and proud to have become a great grandma to her great grandson Noah. Spending time with him put a huge smile on her face and lifted her spirits. She spent her time doing what she loved to do best, cooking. She would spend hours making assorted Polish meals especially pierogies and desserts for her family. No one ever left babcia's house hungry. She also loved tending to her flowers and vegetable garden.
She was active member of Sacred Heart Ladies Guild where she enjoyed the company of the other members. She was also actively involved with her husband in the Polish Scouting Organization in New Britain many years ago.
Irene also had a passion for camping and loved to sit by the campfire with family and reminisce of all the fun times she had at previous times camping.
Now she will join her husband in eternal rest.
