Gary Pechout

Gary was born on June 12, 1956 in New Britain to Norman and Claire (Grandbois) Pechout.

He was the loving husband of Jackie (Root) Pechout and devoted doggy dad to his beloved Labradors Ginger, Sable, Raven and Lady. 

Gary loved the outdoors, whether he was fishing, kayaking or hanging out in the back yard with his dogs.

He was very passionate about his friends and family. Those of you who really know Gary knew him as a strong man with a big heart.

Gary is survived by his wife, Jackie Pechout, his mom, Claire Pechout, his sister, Elaine Moesel and brother-in-law, Jeff Moesel, his niece and nephew and several aunts, uncles and many cousins.  Also two sister-in-laws; Rose Davis and Betty Witkowski. Brother-in-laws; Cass Witkowski and Richard Dyer .In addition, his extended family, the McKenna’s. He is predeceased by his father, Norman Pechout and brother, Steven Pechout.

A Celebration of Gary’s Life will be determined at a later date.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 1pm until 3pm at New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT 06053. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 3pm in the funeral home.
