Desiree Lynne Oakes

She was born in New Britain, attended Berlin High School, moved to Bangor, Maine where she completed her education and graduated from Bangor High School.

Then attended Husson College in Bangor where she was working towards her degree in Nursing.

While in school she worked and became certified as a nursing assistant/aid.

Eventually moved back to Berlin CT and continued working as a nursing assistant.

She then moved and settled in Enfield and then eventually worked for Maple Hill Farm as an Office Manager

She is a beloved daughter of Cheryl DiPinto Huck and her husband, RJ Huck of Berlin and her father Roger Oakes and his wife Vicky of Enfield.

Besides her parents she is survived by her beloved daughters, Aubrey and Hayden Brisebois. She is also survived by a brother Alan Caron Jr; sister Nicole Caron; stepsister Stephanie Decampos, and stepbrother; Steven and Sofia Arel. Grandparent; Salvatore and Bernice DiPinto and Gildo Oakes, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be on Friday, August 27th, 2021 at 10:30 AM at St. Ann Church, North St. New Britain, burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, August 26th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the New Britain Memorial Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain.
