Angela “Angie” (DiMauro) DelCegno, 91, formerly of New Britain passed away peacefully Friday April 25 after a long illness. Angie was born in Holsoppole ,PA the daughter of the late Salvatore and Josephina Carbone Dimauro. After moving to New Britain with her family she met the love of her life and husband of 61 wonderful years Emil. Angie loved to work in the garden with her parents, play baseball with her brothers, shop downtown on Thursday nights with her friends and most of all dancing with Dad. Angie was a communicant of St. Ann Church, worked at Stanley Works and Bradlees, was a member of the Marconi Club and attended school in New Britain. Mom's warm and ever present smile held the family together through her illness.
Angie is predeceased by her sister Josephine, brothers Joe and Paul and her loving husband Emil who is waiting to dance with her again. She leaves behind two sons John and Sally DelCegno of Sarasota FL and David and Cheryl DelCegno of Harwichport, MA and grandsons Michael and his wife Natalie, Jonathan and Steven. Also many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Anthony, Gina and Angela whom she also considered as grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 28th, at 10AM, at St. Ann Church, 101 North Street, New Britain with visitation from 8:30AM to 9:30AM at New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
