She was born February 26, 1939, in New Braunfels and passed away July 26, 2023 in New Braunfels. She married Charley “Chuck” Welty on June 18th, 1960.
Her survivors include two daughters, Karen Welty of Dallas, Texas and Deby Welty of New Braunfels as well as her sister, Charlotte Woods of Arlington, Texas.
Preceding her in death were her husband Chuck Welty, her parents Monnie and Ruby Haas, and her brother-in-law Larry Woods.
