John E. Anderson of New Braunfels, TX. passed away Monday, September 2, 2024, at the age of 84. He was born on June 18, 1940, in Paxton, Il. to John and Emma Anderson.
John proudly served his country for 30 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired as Chief Master Sergeant.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Anderson; sister, Margie Fergus (Steve); children, Deborah Griffin (Rick), John M. Anderson (Carrie), and Floyd Terry (Janice); grandchildren, Jenny Pritchett, Monika Chavez, and Erik Anderson; and great grandchildren, Eric Pritchett, Aubrey Goerndt, and Levi Goerndt. John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Emma Anderson; and daughter, Deborah Chavez and grand baby, Elizabeth Chavez.
John will be laid to rest at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX.
