Jesse "Don" Donald Posey

He studied at Sul Ross and Tarleton and was drafted into the United States Army where he served 2 tours in Vietnam. He served as a Master Plumber and retired from O’Haver Plumbing of San Antonio. In 1972 Don married the love of his life, Kathleen Neuse. They have resided in New Braunfels the entirety of their marriage.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse, Jr & Nettie Elizabeth Posey; and elder brother, Davey Posey. He is survived by his brother Douglas and wife Shirley Posey; sister-in-law Sharon and husband Max Stockberger; brother-n-law Stephen and wife Brenda Neuse; sister-in-law Barbara and Jerome Rhodes; niece Leslie and husband Robert DePasqual II; nephew Richard and wife Andrea Posey; nephew Bradley Posey; nephew Derek Billnitzer and husband Keith Dunn; nephew Henry "Alex"ander Neuse; nephew Robert and wife Catherine Dodd; nephew Andy Billnitzer and his wife Chetna Pande; niece Rebecca Rhodes; nephew Ryan Rhodes; and numerous great-nephews/nieces.

Visitation will be held at Zoeller Funeral Home, New Braunfels on Thursday, June 16th, from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral service will be held at 10am on Friday, June 17 at Zoeller’s Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Comal Cemetery. Donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, in lieu of flowers.
