Helen Bennett

Helen is survived by her son Stan Bennett of New Braunfels. She is preceded in death by her Husband Clarence Leroy Bennett of New Braunfels, her children Glenda Kay Bennett of New Braunfels, and Hugh Howard Bennett of Ponca City, Oklahoma.

She was born on January 12, 1931 in Snow, Oklahoma, to parents Morgan and Ethel Briscoe. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Batchelor degree in Education and taught in public schools off and on throughout her life. She worked hard and was a wife, mom and homemaker for most of her life. She was passionate about her flower beds and birds and spent a lot of time reading romance novels and doing crossword puzzles.

She married Clarence Leroy Bennett in 1954 and they had 3 children.

A Viewing is scheduled for family and friends Wednesday December 11, 2024 from 5-8 pm. Flowers may be sent to the Funeral Home at:

A graveside funeral service will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas on December 12, 2024 at 1pm. Check with gate attendants for pavilion location.
