Edward Fischer Jr. of Spring Branch, TX. passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at the age of 72. He was born on October 18, 1947 in San Antonio, Texas to Edward and Alice Fischer.
Edward graduated from Holy Cross High School in San Antonio. He was in Vietnam and served as a military policeman in the United States Army from March 12, 1968 until January 8, 1971. He continued his law enforcement service as a civilian and also served as a deputy United States Marshal. Edward was also a member of the Alzafar Shrine. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Linda Fischer; son, Edward Michael Fischer (Kim); daughter, Pamela Moreno (Jesse);step-children, Angela Hires (Tony), Leah Martinez, and David Gasaway (Leticia); 12 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 2, 2020 at 2:00 pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Bulverde (Red Roof Church) 29797 US-281 Hwy, Bulverde, Texas 78163.
