Carole Jean Rushing

Carole married Ralph Ray Rushing on June 22, 1956. They were married for 57 years until his passing. She was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church in McGregor, Tx. She graduated from McGregor High School. She worked for the U.S. Postal service for 22 years. She loved to crochet and play the organ in her spare time. She made beautiful cakes.

Carole never met a stranger. She was always smiling and laughing. She loved her family and never missed an opportunity to tell them so.

Carole Is survived by her brother Dannie Summers; daughters Rae Jean Bailey of Seguin, Texas and Tracy Hehs (Joe) of Seguin, Texas; grandchildren Mark Johnson (Krista), Jerry Carmony (Charli), and Casie Bailey; and great grandchildren Zachry Johnson and Kason Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents Dock and Vee Summers, husband Ralph Rushing; daughter Annette Johnson and grandson Kevin Johnson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 10:00am at College Avenue Baptist Church, 201 Monroe St, McGregor, TX 76657
