She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Straker, Sr.; and brothers, Sherwood Norris, Billy Norris, George Norris, Bobby Norris, and Harvey Norris.
She is survived by her children, Patti Straker, Harry Straker, Jr., and George Straker; grandchildren, Lauren Manley (Spencer), Corey Straker, and Ben Straker (Jamie); great grandchildren, Charlotte and Penn Manley; sisters, Sarah Cahoon (Tommy) and Mary Toler; and brothers, Edward Lee Norris (Betty Jean) and Donald Norris (Ella).
The family will hold a private graveside service at New Bern Memorial Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice.
