Ruth Catherine Scharbrough

Ruth enjoyed gardening, sewing and serving her family. She loved her husband with whom she traveled the world together, her family, children and grandchildren. She loved being a great hostess of parties around the world. She owned her own bible book store in Pittsburg as a hobby. She was born to Cecil and Mildred Lambert of Indianapolis, IN on November 9, 1928.

She is predeceased by her son James Arthur Scharbrough, Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years James Arthur Scharbrough; son Joe Scharbrough and wife Lisa; daughter Deborah A. Belter and husband Steve; grandchildren Jamie Elizabeth Scharbrough and husband Tom Salemi, Jessica Scharbrough Britton and husband Bryan; sister Lula Brown and husband Charles; brothers Albert Lambert and wife Rosemary, Robert Lambert and wife Sheila and Carl Lambert.

Family will receive friends for a visitation from 3-5 pm Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are by Cotten Funeral Home and Crematory.
