He is survived by his wife Candy Bickle of New Bern, Mother: Sara Jones of New Bern, Brother's: Robert Lee Bickle of New Bern, John Brian Bickle of Goose Creek, SC, and James Heber Bickle of Pamlico Daughter's: Frances Andrews of TN, Christina Turner(Candece) of Jacksonville, Tracy Quay of New Bern, Brittany Barwick(Lemmie) of Cove City, and Brooke Gonzalez(Devon) of Havelock. Son's: Chip Quay(Meloney) of New Bern, and Trent Breeze (Dawn) of New Bern. Grandchildren's: Breeanah, Chasity, Alissa, Kayla, Jordan, Kayla, Kevin, Paxtonn, Paytonn, Adalynn, L.J., Scarlett, Skylin, and Harley. Great-grandchild: Waylon.

Ricky was an avid hunter, and enjoyed camping. `You could always find him around the horseshoe pit at Green Acres. He loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren. He worked for the City of New Bern in the Public Works Department. He loved to carry on an extravagant conversation with anyone who would listen, and was a lover of all animals especially his 2 special girls, Nattie and Mylee his beloved chihuahuas.

Family will receive friends Wed June 27, 2018 from 1-2 PM at Cotten Funeral home, immediately followed by a service at 2 PM. Burial immediately following at Greenleaf Memorial Park in Trent Woods.
