Paul’s life was transformed at the age of 30 when he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He served the Lord faithfully for over 60 years in many capacities for his church. Singing and whistling hymns was one of his favorite pastimes. As an avid college football fan, he always rooted for Alabama. ROLL TIDE ROLL!
Paul leaves behind a host of extended family and friends, all of whom deeply respected and admired him. The kind of man he was, can be summed up in a quote from one of his nephews: “If there was any man in this world to mold your life after, it was Uncle Paul”.
There will be a celebration of his life on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Cotten Funeral Home, New Bern NC, with visitation to follow, officiated by Jason Senn.
