Laura Jane Hayes 78, of Havelock died Tuesday, March 27, 2018 surrounded by her family.
She was a member of Croatan FWB Church. Laura is predeceased by her husband, Hoyt Jerome Hayes and her daughter, Sharon Kay Daas.
Surviving are her sons, Mickey Jerome Hayes and Steve Kirkland Hayes both of Al.; daughter, Marsha Jane Eckmann and son-in law Thor Eckmann of Texas; son-in-law, Joseph Henry Dass of VA; brothers Joe Clifford Rogers and spouse Fannie Lou Rogers; Tommy Rogers and spouse Libby Rogers of Lakeview, SC and James Rogers of TN; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00pm Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Croatan FWB Church
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Croatan FWB Church. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
