Kevin Charles Schrader

Kevin was born on March 27, 1963 in Camp Lejune, NC to Larry and Mary Jane Schrader. He grew up in a military family with four siblings and was able to travel all over. He made many friends along the way that he had cherished and kept in touch with. Kevin had a love and respect for nature and animals. He was a master woodworker and created many beautiful pieces. He proudly worked at Humphrey Mechanical in Jacksonville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Charles Schrader, and his grandparents, Walter & Ruth Schrader and Tom & Helen Harris.

Kevin is survived by his sons, Keith Charles Schrader and Jordan Kristopher Schrader, both of New Bern; his mother, Mary Jane Schrader of New Bern; siblings, Kari and Robert Cowan of Ernul, Kristopher Schrader of Havelock, Kandis Shark of Enterprise, AL, and Kara Schrader of Buffalo, NY; and nephews and nieces, Kirt McAden, Jason Germann, Jonathan Germann, Kelsey Rhodes, Kodey Shark, Megan Cowan, Hannah Stillwell, Abby Cowan, and Austin Schrader.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Crossroads Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the church. Burial will follow the service at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
