Joey,
I remember meeting you when I was a kid, thanks to Donnie. We grew up together. We talked maybe two weeks before you passed, little did I know that would be the last time.. You were always so sweet, supportive, and goofy. I remember the first time I met Jada, I stopped by your dad's store. You invited me and I could see the pride in your face as you showed off your baby girl . You adored her, Evelyn, Joseph and Jordan dearly. Any and every single time we talked that was your favorite subject. You are such an amazing dad. You loved them beyond measure. You loved all your friends and family. You were one of the most loving human beings that I had the pleasure of knowing. I have quite a few memories with you over the years but they all won't fit up here.  No amount of words could equate to how much of an impact you have left on the people who knew you. You will be missed so much and your memory will live on forever. I only wish we had more time to rekindle our friendship, but I know you cared for me. Thank you for being a friend. I will cherish the friendship I received from you forever. Rest in peace angel, until we meet again.

Joey and I worked together at Murphy. He was definitely one of the best people I ever worked with. He was very kind to our customers & always knew when a joke was needed. RIH my friend, until we meet again. 

It still hasn’t completely sunk in that you’re no longer on this earth anymore, no matter what though you’re always with all of us you were an amazing human being and friend even though we were not blood i still considered you a brother. Life isn’t fair and it seems like God does things to hurt us on purpose but he had bigger plans with you Joey they always say the good die young and you were the best Rest In Paradise my brother you were and always will be an amazing person.

I met Joey in high school, we never really hung out until after we both graduated. But before we started hanging out I always thought he was so cool and wanted to be his friend and later I found out he thought the same about me. He was always there when I needed someone to talk to and I was always there for him when he needed to vent. He was at my house everyday for a few months & I have countless memories and stories.. from the time he gave me a hair cut to him teaching me about the dark web & some that aren’t too appropriate lol but I’d be happy to share privately. He looked out for my entire family. He was constantly checking up on me and asking how my mom and the rest of my family was doing. I don’t know one person who hated him. He opened himself up to everyone. Even the people who knew him through friends knew how good he was. He loved his family and his kids more than anything. Even when he was upset, all he wanted was to take care of Jordan and his kids and make sure they were okay. I am so thankful we had the opportunity to catch up and talk for the past few months. I will miss you forever. I will hold you in my heart forever. I love you Joey. I can’t wait to see you again.

I first met Joey at Crabs Claw. Instantly, we clicked. We would always refer to each other as “brotha” and “sista” . Joey was an amazing friend. Anytime I needed someone to just simply talk to, he was there. He was there for me,  before I even mentioned my feelings, because he could tell when something was wrong. Advice? He had the best. He was encouraging. He was the biggest sweetheart. He made sure  I never felt alone. Joey made an impact on my life and I will always cherish the memories we have. Till we meet again, Brotha 🤟🏽💛. 

I didn't think it would be last time seeing you... I'll miss you forever J stacks. You were a brother to me when I needed one. When I got to Okinawa you were the one to put me on with your friends. You were the first one to hit up on a Friday and definitely the one to get in trouble with too but I'll miss that bout you cause it was just your luck. I'll miss filming for you, you were probably one of the crazier skaters for sure when we met. I appreciate everything you put me onto good or bad, I wish there was another time we could reminisce about those days. I'm sorry for your parents, I'm sorry for your children, I'm sorry for Jordan, and I mourn the loss with them. I'll miss you forever Joey, I wish there was another time.

I knew Joey in Okinawa and kept in contact with him. He was always such a good friend to me and never ceased to make me laugh. When I was pregnant with my son, he sent a gift and gave me advice all from the kindness of his own heart. He loved his beautiful family with all his being, they are all he talked about. My deepest condolences to his family. Your daddy was an amazing man who made sure everyone was happy and always put others above himself. Rest in peace a Joey, you will be missed by so many. 

We lived next to the Cornwall Family when our kids were younger. Joey was around 7, my oldest Caleb was 5. They played together almost daily. Joey became familiar enough to just walk in, or just come to our backyard to play. Those two laughed and played hard. 

I just saw you a couple of months ago and the news was unreal then. It took me a long time to get a couple sentences out because all I could see was Jerry. All I wanted to say was that if you ever need anything I got you, your brother was my family. And it was hard not to tear up the whole time. I wish I could have done more. You showed me your beautiful daughters and invited me into your home. I know your in a better place but too many people here weren't ready for you to go. May you rest in peace my brother.

Joey was the first friend I made when I moved here from New Jersey, came to me with open arms and was there for me and my go to ever since, we experienced a very traumatic car accident together that brought us even closer and our children are 9 days apart and we only gotten closer over the years. He’s such an amazing person and is so loved and will surely be missed. Rest Easy Joey

Joey was one of the brightest and most selfless humans i’ve ever met. No matter the time, distance, or circumstances, he was always there for his friends. We will miss you tremendously Joey. 

Joey was the sweetest person you ever met, he looked after those he loved. Joey has been my friend for many, many years. I’ll never forget Joey waking up early in the morning on my birthday and riding with my girlfriends and I to watch the sunset first in the morning on the beach. We all loved Joey more than we could describe and I wish this didn’t have to be reason I was making this memory post. He deserved so many more memories with so many more people and i’ll never understand why he was chosen to leave us so soon. Rest in Paradise sweet jojo, we love you. 

It feels like I’ve known Joey forever. He was such a good friend to me, always. He had more friends than you would think anybody could have. Every time he was around he would say something absolutely outrageous and you couldn’t tell if he was serious or joking, but he was always joking. Never failed to make me laugh. Whenever I needed someone to talk to he was there, no matter how random or annoying it might have been. I pray that God watches over Jordan and their children. Rest In Peace, Joey. 

I am so sorry for your loss of this young  man. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. 

He was one of the only people to  be a genuine friend to me. At  one of the lowest points in my life he was there. He always encouraged me. Always had positive energy for me. He was really a big part of why I got my life together. Simple because he was a brother to me when I needed one. Even after  I set out on my journey we would still keep in touch. I have l texts , snaps , FaceTimes, just so many good times and conversations saved. I literally talked to you right before you passed. Man you came into my life as a good friend. You left this earth as my brother. I haven’t shed this many tears since I was a kid. I could imagine how your family feels. I appreciate all of your family for inviting me over for the holidays. The last conversation we had was about our kids meeting each other .. so it’s hard for me to really process that your presence is now a memory . But bro you will forever live on in my mind and heart.
