John is survived by his wife, Dorothy “Dot” Field; three sons: Christopher Field of Berwyn Heights, MD, Jonny Field of Silver Spring, MD and Alan B. Field of Burtonsville, MD; one daughter, Julie Nicholson of Frederick, MD; and three step-sons: Jeffery Snearly of Redondo Beach, CA, Randy Snearly of Laurel, MD and Gregory N. Snearly of Chesapeake Beach, MD; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held Monday, February 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenleaf Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Cotten Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
