Denise Ellen Pidgeon Nielsen, 65, passed away Tuesday, August 27,2019, with her husband by her side.
Denise was born in New York to Lawrence and Debra Pidgeon. She is survived by her husband of 42 years Cliff Nielsen; three children, Mathew Nielsen, Patrick Nielsen and Caitlin Nielsen; two brothers, Robert Pidgeon and Michael Pidgeon.
Denise served in the United States Air Force as a Register Nurse, where she met her beloved husband Cliff. She loved cooking and creating special dishes, traveling Europe, especially Italy, where she wanted her family to spend time and enjoy life. Denise passed this love of cooking and traveling to all three of her children.
Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 pm,Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following service.
Arrangements are being handled by Cotten Funeral Home and Crematory.
