Brian Robert Donham

Brian Donham, 70, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern, NC. A celebration of life will be held in the near future.

Brian was born February 25, 1954, to Robert Allen Donham and Margaret Helen Blick in Warren, PA. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Donham and mother, Margaret Blick. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Donham, son, Kyle Donham (Jaime), and grandchildren, Evelyn and Courtland Donham. He is also survived by his sister Barbara Fletcher (Daniel) and many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

Brian was a veteran of the Marine Corps where he spent thirty years serving his country as a weather forecaster, observer, and instructor. While serving he was deployed during Desert Storm. He received good conduct during his service as well as many accolades such as the meritorious service medal, national defense medal, SW Asia medal, Kuwait liberation medal, Saudi Arabia medal, and the navy commendation medal.

Brian was an active member of Cherry Point Baptist Church and the Havelock GOP. He enjoyed watching Nascar races and Steelers football. However, his favorite sporting events to attend were those of his son and grandkids. Brian also enjoyed traveling the world with his wife during his retirement years.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Havelock Animal Shelter or any nonprofit of your choice.
