Barbara M. Banach

Barbara Banach, 86, passed away on Tuesday November 28th surrounded by her loving family. She was born in the Bronx, NY, raised her family on Long Island NY and retired to New Bern NC. She was the wife of the late Stanley Banach.

Barbara spent many happy years in New Bern where she formed deep and lasting friendships. She moved in with her daughter in Connecticut this past spring and enjoyed the summer exploring the countryside.

She leaves behind her son Chris and his partner Jeanne of Charleston SC, her son Richard of Tarrytown NY, her daughter Cindy of Harwinton CT and her beloved granddaughter Elisa and her husband Tony and her great granddaughters Tiffany and Ashley of Vanceboro NC.

The family will receive visitors at Cotten Funeral Home, Sunday December 3, 2017 from 4 to 6pm. A graveside Service will be held Monday, December 4, 2017 at 1pm at Greenleaf Memorial Park. A reception will follow the burial. All are welcome.
