Amy Frances Falcone, age 49, formerly of New Bern, North Carolina went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Amy worked with the Shepherd's Shoppe, a local Christian bookstore in New Bern, for many years before transitioning to the New Bern Police Department where she worked as a 911 operator and administrative assistant. She will remembered for her smile, generous spirit, servant's heart and kindness toward all she met. Amy loved the Lord and was an active member of Covenant of God Church where she enjoyed leading the ladies ministry and serving others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew "Andy" Falcone; her parents, Donnie and Donna Short; and her grandmother, Ellen Williams.
Amy is survived by her son, Eric James Lassiter; sister, Ellen Weaver; granddaughters, London Faith and Maci Lane; nephews, Tyler Weaver and Kyle Weaver; as well her late husband's family who she loved dearly.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Covenant of God Church in Vanceboro. The family will receive friends following the service.
