Allen Warren Davis

Allen was born and raised in the Ft. Barnwell Community and graduated from West Craven High School in Vanceboro. Allen enjoyed working with Swain Gas Company and Roy Hicks Gas Company in the Vanceboro area until he suffered a stroke 10 years ago which prevented him from working anymore.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents Roy Parker Davis and Margaret Jolley Davis and brother, Jimmy Parker Davis. He is survived by his son, Norwood Allen "Woody" Davis of Vanceboro and his daughter, Melissa Dawn "Missy" Davis of Ft. Barnwell, one granddaughter, Morgan Whaley, his sisters, Geraldine Sutton of Cove City and Lynda Gaskins of New Bern; his brothers, Roy Curtis Davis (Audrey) of Cove City and Myron "Doc" Davis and Helen of Ft. Barnwell.

Graveside Services will be in the Ft. Barnwell Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 am on Monday, October 24, 2022 with LeRoy Alligood and Jason Jones officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Cotten Funeral home is honored to serve the family and friends of Allen Davis.
