He was born August 7, 1960, in Springfield, the son of Gaylan E. and Lana (Devore) Peecher. Timothy married Dina Lacey on August 19, 1978, in Alexander, IL.
Tim graduated from New Berlin High School, where he eventually worked as part of the maintenance crew. Before this position, he was a member of the Painters Local 90, where he did painting and drywall finishing. He also was self-employed between union jobs with Stampede Drywall. During his time working in New Berlin, he was proudly recognized for repainting the football field so well that they decided to take an aerial picture of it, and place the large picture in the halls of the school. Tim was great at impersonating different celebrities, and he was a singer and an instrumentalist in the house band “Stampede”. He was a lover of all animals, especially his beloved dog, Mingo.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gaylan; and brother, David J. Peecher.
Tim is survived by his wife, Dina; mother, Lana Young; daughter, Dana (Jonathan) Peecher; grandson, Bryce Hamilton; brothers, Rick and John (Diane) Peecher; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home – New Berlin, 714 E. Gibson St., New Berlin.
