Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late John Freitas and the late Deolinda (Gouveia) Francis and her husband the late Joseph Francis.
Ms. Dupont worked for several businesses in the area as an assembler and a solderer. In her spare time, she enjoyed BINGO and cooking. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Ann M. Dupont, Stephen Dupont and his wife Angelina, and Christopher Dupont all of New Bedford; a sister, Dolores Dube of Fairhaven; grandchildren, Justin, Troy, Cameron, Matthew and his girlfriend Cora, Stephen, Jr., April Jade and her husband Jake Belanger, Jeremy, and Lauren and her boyfriend John Pelletier; great grandchildren, Alice, Lucy, Charlotte, and Kayce; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was the mother of the late Joseph Dupont and sister of the late Joseph Francis.
Her visitation will be Monday, February 5, 2024 4-7 p.m. in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
