Lillian F. (Boucher) Tremblay, 100, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Sippican Healthcare in Marion with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Alexander B. Tremblay.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Eugene and Florida (Benoit) Boucher, she had resided in New Bedford all of her life before moving to Marion recently.
Mrs. Tremblay was a talented seamstress who worked for Grotogs and Cape Cod Sportswear.
Lillian was a member of the St. Mary Seniors, Our Lady of Fatima Seniors and the Royal Travelers. She enjoyed word search puzzles and the company of family and friends.
She is survived by her niece and caregiver, Anne M. Frates and her husband Steven of Dartmouth; her nieces, Heidi Sirois and her husband Robert of New Bedford, Brenda Boucher of New Bedford, Diane Morrisette of Fall River, Toni Boucher and her husband Francois of CA and Julie-Ann Boucher Carnell of CA; her nephew, Richard Boucher and his wife Kyra of South Carolina; her sister-in-law Julie Boucher of CA; and many great nieces and great nephews. She was the mother of the late Norman Tremblay, sister of the late Eugene and Richard Boucher and aunt of the late Jackie Boucher.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 10 a.m. in St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Rd., E. Freetown followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
