Lillian R. Duval

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Charles and Marguerite (Duguay) Marshall, she was a life-long resident of the area.

Mrs. Duval was an avid reader.

Survivors include: her son, Leo J. Duval and his wife Patricia of Dartmouth; two grandchildren, Melissa Cabral and her husband Richard of Attleboro and Peter Duval and his wife Crystal of Dartmouth; five great-grandchildren, Wesley, Pheobe and Henry Cabral and Izabelle and Lucian Duval; a sister, Helena Ponte and several nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Raymond, George, Charles, Albert, Dorothy and Edmund Marshall.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 8:30 AM from the ROCK Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, followed by her funeral mass at 9:30 AM in St. Julie Billiart Church, 494 Slocum Rd., Dartmouth. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours, Friday 5-7 PM.
