Born in Providence, RI, daughter of the late Julio Fernandes and Anna Monteiro (Viera) Fernandes Fox, she resided in Falmouth most of her life.
Ms. Hilliard was a graduate of Falmouth High School and worked as a Nursing Assistant.
Survivors include her children, Judy Hilliard of Harwich, MA; Celesse Clark and her husband Kevin of Sippewissett; Felicia Hilliard of East Falmouth, MA; Frederick Hilliard and his wife Robbi of New Bedford; one sister, Maryanne Hill and her husband Ferrell of New York; three brothers, Wilfred Fernandes and his wife Jane of CA; Wayne Fernandes of East Falmouth; Benjamin Fox and his wife Liz of East Falmouth; six grandchildren, Shardae Hilliard, Jordan Wedges, Savannah Kelly, Taylor Kelly, Ava Kelly, Ashton Kelly and many nieces and nephews.
Private funeral arrangements are in the care of the ROCK Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford, MA.
