Gertrude S. Boucher, age 89 of New Bedford, died Thursday, December 15, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford.
Born in Montreal, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Rose A. (Brosseau) Boucher. Ms. Boucher was employed as a Floor Worker for many years with New Bedford Manufacturing Company and Bonnie Lane and was a former member of the Hillside Court Senior Group.
Ms. Boucher is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins and was the sister of the late Raymond and Charles Boucher.
Her funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 9am in St. Anthony of Padua Church 1359 Acushnet Ave., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bedford. Arrangements are in the care of the ROCK Funeral Home, New Bedford. www.rock-funeralhome.com
