Born in Wareham, David graduated from the Plumbing Shop at New Bedford Vocation Technical High School and attended MCPHS in Boston. He worked at Mac’s Soda Bar in Fairhaven and Gators Pub in RI.
Those who knew David, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. He was happiest when surrounded by friends and playing with his new baby sister and other siblings, Olivia Costa, Matthew Costa, Emma Costa, Kate-Lynn Costa and Michael Costa. He was a loving and dedicated brother. David will be missed everyday by his Mom, Erika Souza, Step-Dad, Jonathan Souza, Sister, Savannah Souza, David’s Dad, David Costa and his wife Leah. His loving grandparents, Richard and Donna Costa, great-grandmother, Natalie Alves, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many, many great friends. His gentle smile will leave a print on our hearts forever.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 9:00am from the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Joseph’s Church, 74 Spring St. Fairhaven. His Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 5:00 – 8:00pm in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, MA, 02745.
