Claire E. Boucher, age 90 passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Hathaway Manor in New Bedford. She was the daughter of the late Hilor R. and Albertine V. (Fortier) Boucher.
A lifelong New Bedford resident, Ms. Boucher was a graduate of New Bedford High School and worked as an executive secretary for 29 years at Titleist and Acushnet Company - Rubber Division until her retirement. She was an avid bowler and bridge player.
She is survived by her sister Marcella Chouinard of Boynton Beach, Florida; 10 nieces and nephews and several grand nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late H. Gerald Boucher and Geraldine Boucher.
Her funeral mass will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 11:00am at St Joseph-St. Therese Church, Acushnet Avenue, New Bedford, MA. Visitation will be Tuesday from 8:30am – 10:30am prior to the funeral mass. Burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Her funeral arrangements are in the care of ROCK Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd. New Bedford.
