Carol Sullivan

Carol Sullivan passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 9, 2022 after a short and sudden illness. She was born in New Bedford, MA on January, 27, 1965 and was the daughter of the late Donat and Anita Lebrecque. Carol is survived by her loving husband, Terry and their wonderful son Quinn.

She is pre-deceased by their beautiful baby daughter Carly. Carol is also survived by her siblings Amy Mitko, Jane Larue, Donna Labrecque, John Labrecque, Ann Keenan, and Nancy Gagne.

Carol was a sweet, beautiful person with the best sense of humor and a laugh that could be heard for miles. She was an avid music lover. Her greatest joy in life was watching her incredibly talented son Quinn sing and play his guitar. While she enjoyed going to his concerts, what she truly loved was quiet nights at home with her family listening to Quinn play her favorite songs.

Carol had an innate sense of empathy for people and animals alike. She couldn’t pass by a dog or cat without a “Hi sweetheart!” and a good scratch behind the ears. Seeing deer in the yard in the morning always seemed like a miracle to her. Her brother, sisters, friends and neighbors knew they could always count on Carol to be there for them, to help or even to just listen.

She had an impeccable work ethic and always took such good care of her family. She had many friends and always treated everyone she knew with respect and kindness.

Let us all honor Carol’s Life and Legacy by trying to be just a little bit like her. Love yourselves, love your family, be a good friend, feed hummingbirds, rescue dogs, treat others with kindness.

Services will be private. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her name to Boston Children’s Hospital, St. Jude's Children’s Hospital or The Humane Society and Shelter SouthCoast.
