Born in Southbridge, MA, a daughter of the late Armand and Marie Anne (Roy) Lacasse, she had resided in South Dartmouth for over 45 years.
Mrs. Cuikay was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed the comforts of her home. Known for her artistic talent, she enjoyed knitting, reading and bird watching. She loved animals especially her cat, Dewey.
She is survived by her son, Robert P. Cuikay and his wife Tricia Normile of S. Grafton; her daughter, Judith Morel of Fairhaven; her grandchildren, Robin Myrick and her husband Michael of Stafford Springs, CT and Michael DiRusso of Marlborough, MA; her great grandson, Lucas Myrick; her siblings, Estelle Rooney and husband Howard of FL, Raymond Lacasse and wife Harriet of Auburn, MA, Jeanne Sjostedt and her late husband David of CT and Madeleine Lamoth and husband Robert; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Marian Cuikay.
