VIVIAN L. (RUSSELL) BARR, 89, died Monday, August 26, 2013. She was born June 27, 1924 in New Albany, Indiana to her late parents, James and Mary Wate Russell. Vivian was retired from the old M. Fine and Sons and attended church with her family. She was the widow of Carl Barr and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her sons, Danny Barr and wife Vickie, Gary “Butch” Barr and wife Lisa, Michael Barr and wife Tilly, and Larry Barr and wife Montanya; ten grandchildren, Tiffany, Mallory, Kristian, Jason, Corey, David and Alex Barr, Shaun and Adam Pope and Sean Harrigan; several great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Reception of Family and Friends will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday and after 9:00 am Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Friday August 30th at the Kraft Spring Street Chapel with private burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
