Ruby A. Robison

Ruby Ann Robison, age 92, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on June 18, 2023. Ruby was born on May 23, 1931, to the late Everett Smith Sr. and Mary (Kingsley) Smith. She was a graduate of New Albany High School and later received her nursing degree from Kentucky Baptist Hospital School of Nursing. Ruby worked as a Registered Nurse at Floyd Memorial Hospital until retirement. She also served as a member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary for many years. Ruby was a loyal friend, and a loving mother, and was always one of the first to offer her assistance to anyone in need. She enjoyed collecting dolls and porcelain figurines, amassing quite a collection over her lifetime. Along with her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel (Duke) Robison, and her son Michael Lee Robison. She is survived by her son Samuel Robison (Karen). The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last months, particularly her loving friend, Lesa Smith, and her niece Cindy Ohlman. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
