Peggy Marie Meiners Phelps

Peggy Marie Phelps 60, died Saturday, November 6, 2010 in an auto accident on Hwy #150 in Floyd County, Indiana. Peggy was the Human Resources Director for The Courier-Journal in Louisville and the wife of Harry L. Phelps, to whom she was married for 41 years. She was a 1968 graduate of Providence High School and a member of Northside Christian Church. Peggy was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Meiners; and father-in-law, Harry R. Phelps. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Harry L. Phelps; daughters, Ginger Jones (Keith) of Georgetown and Angie Sells (Scott) of Louisville; seven grandchildren, Aden Fears, Ashley Fears, Henok Jones, Eyruselem Jones, Gabe Jones, Ashley Jones and Sydney O'Brien (Jeremy); parents, Joseph and Margaret Meiners; mother-in-law, Frances M. Phelps; sisters, Teresa Weber (Larry) and Cathy Bremmer (Andy); and brothers, Billy Joe Meiners and Charles Meiners (Nancy). Visitation will be 11:00 am until 8:00 pm Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN and after 3:00 pm Sunday at Northside Christian Church, 4407 Charlestown Road, New Albany.
