Paul H. Kulp Jr., age 85, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021. Paul was born March 20, 1936 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Paul H. and Henrietta C. Kulp, Sr. He served in the Indiana National Guard. Paul worked as a mechanic most of his life; he enjoyed helping others. He owned and operated Scenic Valley Service Center in Floyds Knobs, a place where you could get your car fixed and some good advice to go along with it. He loved when friends would stop by to talk. He often joked, "if you share, you have less" yet he always shared and was a giving man that never met a stranger. He was a loving husband to his wife, Marilyn, for 29 years and a wonderful father, brother, and papaw. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Jane Kulp; daughter, Rhonda Harris; siblings, Mary Ann Klugowski, Joyce Norris, Kristine Cornelius, and Joe Kulp.
He is survived by his children, Gina Hinderer (Eugene) and Randy Riall; brothers, Louie Kulp (Sharon) and Michael Kulp (JoAnn); sister, Helen "Sug" Bastin; grandchildren, Drs. Eugene Hinderer, III (Marissa), Jared Hinderer, Corey Riall, Heidy Riall, Heather Williams (Josh), Stephanie Rockey, and Allison Mitchell; and his beloved dog, Sparkplug.
Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150. His funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, December 22, 2021 in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
