She was born August 16, 1921 in Louisville, KY to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Marie Pruitt and was retired from the old A&P Bakery in downtown Louisville. Mary was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Bradford, IN, and was preceded in death by her husband August Messmer and her 2 sisters. Survivors include: Son: Ronald L.
