Mary (Chaney) Huddleston, 84, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on May 5, 2023. Mary was born on April 19, 1939, in New Albany, Indiana to the late William and Dorothy (Scherzinger) Chaney. She was married to the late Alfred Huddleston. Mary was a faithful member of the Park Christian Church in New Albany, Indiana.
Mary was a loving Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Her family was the light of her life and she loved spending time with them sometimes eating her favorite meal of pork chops. In her spare time, Mary enjoyed traveling and taking cruises. She was a seamstress for many years making clothing for her children as well as coats for our Veterans.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Alfred Huddleston; and grandson Alan Huddleston Jr.
Mary is survived by her 4 children, Alan Huddleston (Paula), Linda Talley (John), Sandra Casey, and Keith Huddleston (Cecelia); 10 grandchildren, Tiffany, Andrew, Jake, Grant, Franklin, Katie, Haley, Hayden, and Hannah; 10 great-grandchildren, McKayla, Madison, Asa, Makena, Abram, Benson, Abel, Barrett, Maddox, and Asher; as well as sisters, Bette Lay, Joyce Parris, and Candy Barksdale.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 4:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana, 47150.
Funeral Service will be on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Mary will be laid to rest in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park following the funeral service.
Donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the American Parkinson Association, www.apdaparkinson.org.
