MARTHA ELIZABETH (WALKER) HARDESTY, 75, former resident of Underwood, Indiana, died Saturday, June 13, 2015. The daughter of the late Ruben Howard and Josie Fern (Dean) Walker, Martha was born August 25, 1939 in New Washington, Indiana. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Shirley Ann Luff, Robert Wayne Luff, and Elisa Gail Martin; siblings, Joseph Rubin Walker, Richard Walker, and Keith Wayne Walker.
Survivors include her son, Charles Lee Luff and his wife, Paula Lee Luff; siblings, Mary Frances Conrad, Margaret Catherine Lavanovich, Minnie Bay Noble, David Walter Walker, Larry K. Walker, and Steve Logsdon; 5 grandchildren, Joshua Luff, Tabitha Luff, David Luff, Billy Martin, and Misty Martin; and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. Her Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Wednesday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
