Mark A. Geiger, 65, of Elizabeth, Indiana passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 Baptist Health Floyd. Mark was born August 5, 1956 to the late Carl E. Geiger Jr. and Mayme H. Geiger. He was an avid woodworker where he spent countless hours in his workshop. He spent 30 years in Alaska working as a Civil Engineer with Price Gregory International. After retirement he designed and built his dream home on 76 acres. He was devoted to his family and adored his nieces and nephews.
Mark is survived by his siblings, Carl Geiger, Karen Geiger, Jeff Geiger, Linda (Derek) Geiger Dutton; nieces and nephews, Greyson Kern, Holden Geiger, Katie (Hamilton) Brandenburg, Kelly Geiger, Joshua Geiger, Kaitlyn Geiger, Josie Geiger, Taylor Dutton, Celia Dutton and Aiden Dutton; and bonus niece and nephew, Grace and Jared Dineen.
Visitation for Mark will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at his home, 3380 Albin Ford Road SE, Elizabeth, Indiana 47117.
A funeral service to celebrate his life will be conducted on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM, at his home 3380 Albin Ford Road SE, Elizabeth, Indiana 47117 with a reception to follow.
Private burial will be at Cave Hill Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the American Red Cross.
