Kermit Pate

Kermit Randall Pate, 63 years of age died Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at his residence in New Albany. He was born April 1, 1952 in Corydon, Indiana to the late James and Ethel (Wendell) Pate. Randy was a former truck driver for National Distributors and along with his parents was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Pate; brothers, John Pate and Tim Pate; sisters, Carolyn Miller and Judy Moss. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Linda Pate; children, Michael Pate (Melissa) of Salem, Indiana, Kendra Schleicher (Steve) of Denver, Colorado, Julie Lewis (Joe) of Sellersburg, Indiana; siblings, Mike Pate (Linda) of Tennessee, Jesse Pate of Tennessee, Alvin Pate (Terri) of Georgia, Beverly Henderson of Florida, Janet Houghlin of Indiana, Rachel Pate of Indiana, Jennifer Ingram (Wayne) of Indiana; 15 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday and 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
