Kenneth Allen Reed Sr.

Kenneth A. “Killer” Reed Sr. 70 years of age died Sunday September 17, 2017 at Baptist Health Floyd. Kenny was born April 14, 1947 to Frederick D. and Ruth (Montgomery) Reed. He was formerly a master welder with Jeff Boat and retired after many years with Huncilman and Sons Company in New Albany. Kenny was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and an avid sports fan who especially loved Indiana University Athletics. He was preceded in death by his father Frederick D. Reed and a sister Pamela Sue Reed. Survivors Include: Wife of 50 years; Linda L. (Robison) Reed, son Kenneth A. Reed Jr. (Pamela), two grandchildren; Shannon Lee and Chrissy M. Clark and two great-grandchildren Jaelynn Devary and Kyleigh Taylor. His mother Ruth (Montgomery) Reed and several nieces and nephews. Cremation was chosen. A Reception and Memorial Service will take place at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany after 9:00 am Saturday, September 23rd with the Memorial Service to be held at 10:00 am Saturday with full military honors.
