Kenneth "Kenny" Martin Pankey

Kenneth "Kenny" Martin Pankey, age 85, of Underwood, Indiana passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 20, 2025. Kenny was born in New Albany, Indiana on July 10, 1939, to the late Erchell Pankey and Helen Louise (Wisehart) Pankey. Kenny was proudly raised by two women in his life, Helen Pankey and his grandmother Mary Belle Wisehart, who held a very special place in his heart. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam Era. Kenny was a retired Pipefitter/Hvac Tech and a former member of the Local 502 Pipefitters as a Senior Boilermaker. Kenny was the definition of being a "Jack of all Trades".

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; his loving grandmother, Mary Bell Wisehart.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Nancy A. (Dixon) Pankey; his loving daughters, Marcy (Darryl) Middleton and Annette (Kevin) Robertson; grandchildren, Amanda (Justin), Ashley (Josh), Isaac (Brittney), Kaleb, Haley, Abigail, and Kasey; great grandchildren, Lydia, Kai, Jayden, Hadley, Maeley Sue, and Blakely Rose.

Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. His Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 10:00 AM. A private burial will be held at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
