Joseph Lynn McGill

Joseph Lynn McGill, 78, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Baptist Health Floyd. Joe was born in Edwardsville, Indiana on September 24, 1944, to the late Rodney Franklin McGill and Dona Ray Benham McGill. He was a retired timekeeper with Jeff Boat and was a member of First Baptist Church, New Albany. He was an avid collector of clocks and old radios. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce McGill; and a brother, Donald Rodney McGill. Joe is survived by three siblings, Rosemary (Tom) Scantland, John Patterson McGill and Samuel T. (Sue) McGill; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for Joseph will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday, November 4, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Kraft Funeral Service,708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Funeral service will be Friday, November 4, 2022, at 11:00 AM, 708 E. Spring Street with private burial in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
