Gregory Keith Whitehead

Gregory Keith Whitehead, 59 years of age went to be with the Lord and Savior on February 13, 2022. He was born on April 14, 1962 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Willie Lee and Willie Idell Whitehead.

Gregory was a member of Greater Harvest Missionary Baptist Church. He received Christ and was baptized in 1979 under the leadership of the late Rev. Edward Perry and remained a faithful member under Pastor Melvin Cuff. He worked on the usher board. Gregory graduated from New Albany High School in 1980. Gregory worked for Water Beds Unlimited from 1980-1991, Kimball Company from 1991-1999, worked in plumbing, and had many other jobs.

Gregory was preceded in death by his father, Willie Lee Whitehead; sisters, Gracie, Bobbie, Suzanne, Linda; brothers, Joe and Shannon.

Gregory leaves to cherish his memories to his mother, Willie Idell; sisters, Louise, Marilyn, Lutricia; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A visitation for Gregory will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Greater Harvest Church, 2912 W Kentucky Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40211.

Gregory will be laid to rest in Green Meadows Memorial Cemetery, 3800 Shanks Lane, Louisville, Kentucky 40216.
