Robert will be dearly missed by his devoted wife Lorraine who was at his side graciously providing care throughout his illness. His pride and joy were his children; Jennifer, Renee, Laurie (Jason), Christina and Raymond (Kelie). He was also extremely proud of his grandchildren; Christian, Megan, Wilhelmina, Connor, Emily, Hannah, Matthew, Chloe, Aurilia, Natalanie, Xzander and Leonard. They will surely miss their Pepere.
Robert was predeceased by his father Edouard; stepfather Denis and younger brother Adriane. He also leaves to mourn his precious mother Jeannine; sisters Odile (Ron), Marline (Tom), Denise; brother Daniel (Leona) and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Robert was born June 17, 1955 and grew up in Opasatika, Ontario. In 1972, the family made their home in Thunder Bay. Robert later relocated to Winnipeg in 1978 and was a multitalented tradesman.
Robert and Lorraine spent many years building their dream cabin at Miami Beach where they enjoyed the company of family and friends in this close knit community.
Robert had a spiritual connection to animals and sincere appreciation for his beloved dogs. Robert also had a love for the great outdoors and was a passionate and devoted hunter. He enjoyed hunting down a great bargain at garage sales and flea markets scouting for the ultimate deal.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the WRHA Palliative Care team for their devotion.
