Born in Kentville, N.S. she was married with three children before the age of 21. A Mother, Grandmother and a Great Grandmother who lived to just past 100 years of age. She was always ready to accept a challenge and always wanted to be the best she could be.
In the 50’s, a lack of employment opportunities in Nova Scotia resulted in Allice and her husband moving the family to Winnipeg. Once settled in Winnipeg, she was able to pursue her goals of raising her children, furthering her education and purchasing a home. She and her husband worked tirelessly to buy and maintain their home.
Allice was predeceased by her husband Albert, her parents Catherine and Clarence, sisters Myrtle and Marion, and her brother James.
She is survived by her sister Laura Tynes, her children Don (Christine), Lynda Lane and Sandra Ross-Harper, her grandchildren Robyn Lane, Delaney (Steve Burtnack), Devon (Monica Lacey), Shevonne (Myles Reid), and Tyanna, her great grandchildren Austin and Wyatt Burtnack and Daria Ross.
