Our beloved Aunt Graciela Guerrero passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024 at the age of 94. She is survived by her niece/nephew Marilyn and Rick Nieto, nephew/niece David and Debra Guerrero, grandnephew/niece Daniel and Maria Guerrero, great-grand niece/nephew Veyda and Maverick Guerrero, and many longtime friends.
Graciela was born in Ecuandureo, Michoacán Mexico on September 22, 1929. She was raised on the family farm with her parents Adrian Guerrero and Maria Espinosa along with her siblings Miguel, Luis, Daniel and Magdalena. In 1960 after the unexpected passing of her father Adrian and brother Miquel the family moved to Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico and lived there until 1970 then moving to National City, CA. Graciela lived the American dream of becoming a US citizen learning to drive purchasing a car then a home in 1990. Graciela was the head of the household, worked and took care of her mother and sister until their passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents Adrian/Maria Guerrero, Brothers Miguel, Luis, Brother/Sister-in-law Daniel/Mary Guerrero and Sister Magdalena.
Graciela was known for her bubbly personality, smile and passion for life. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, eating, going on Bus Trips to Las Vegas with her sister Magdalena and meeting up with her brother Daniel and family whom lived in Northern CA, also going to the local Indian Casinos in San Diego. Graciela will be dearly missed by all who knew her. We shall remember her for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing.
